Update …. Crime … ( Annie Beck House… History !)

…….. yes,  they stole the friggin surveillance cameras !

…………….   The FLPD ( Fort Lauderdale Police Department), pointed cameras at one of the  oldest structures in the City –  the Annie Beck House  (1914) , that was moved to the Middle River Terrace Park, (from off Las Olas,) to save it from demolition, and has been violated repeatedly by juvenile delinquents …..

( these are the brackets where the stolen cameras used to be ….)
   …………………………………………………………………………

The FLPD isn’t giving up   ..  they are installing new cameras  … but inside the historic Annie Beck House, to catch the vandals  !!

  1.    … Did you know that there was a fire in the trashcan in that park this afternoon? They probably used the gasoline from the blower they stole from my shed this morning. This neighborhood is going to hell fast- I miss the old days when we all got together and fought these bas3##@@rds!

  2. No leadership at FLPD, the crimes are being committed by school drop-outs who outsmart the college educated LEO’s, working too many details too tired.

  3. No curbs, no neighborhood sidewalks, no on street parking, no sewers, high crime, civil servants feasting us. Why are we still here? What’s with this blog? To keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is a sign of insanity.
I guess we’re all here because we’re not all there.

  4. Frank … I love the last line of your comment ….. we’re all here because we’re not all there!!! funny stuff, and as I’ve known you for many years, I can agree that for sure it applies in your case ! As far as the blog, it is called Tim Smith’s Fort Lauderdale for a reason ….And I’m hoping that the reason you continue to read it and comment on it is that it is at least entertaining ( if not down right informative!) ….
